Kariyanna B. completed his Bachelor degree in agriculture from College of Agriculture, Mandya, UAS Bengaluru and Master degree from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalya, Raipur, Chhattisgarh with a gold medal. He has good research experience in agricultural entomology and allied sciences. He has 24 publications, 2 books, 6 chapters. He also participated in various National and International Workshops and Conferences. Presently, he is the recipient of DST-Inspire fellowship sponsored by Government of India for his Doctoral Studies.
